TL;DR
We aim to not only help simplify hair care for consumers but to help hair professionals/brands build more consistent relationships with their clients and get the data they need to really maximize their efforts with the Tresslog for Professionals App. We also plan to launch smart tools that connect to the app bringing the Internet of Things to hair care.
What is the core problem you are solving?
Routine hair care is something that is often overwhelming for people, many people don't know where to start, can't afford professional hair care, and are often not consistent when they do finally start. I decided to build Tresslog to help people who just like me struggled with reaching their hair goals and need help demystifying and simplifying hair care.
What is your company's solution? Please describe your product or business and what it does / will do.
Tresslog is a mobile app that provides hair care journaling, personalized routines, guides, and product suggestions based on your hair type and climate.
Founding story
I started working on Tresslog as I wanted a really convenient and user-friendly app to replace my paper hair journal that I used to track my hair care and journey overcoming trichotillomania. I couldn't find an app that fit all the needs I wanted so I decided to build one myself.
